TikTok, like most social media platforms, makes it easy to show your followers interesting, funny, or compelling posts that you find in your TikTok feed or on your For You page. You simply have to hit the yellow “Repost” button, which is the first option you see when you tap the “Share” arrow on your main app screen. The TikTok video will be reposted for all of your fans to see.
But what if you want to go back and review all of the reposts you’ve generated, or you want to see which TikTok users have reposted your videos? The first task is simple; the second is not.
Let’s check out what you and can’t do.
How To See All of the Videos You’ve Reposted
When we say that this is easy, we mean it. Here’s all that you have to do.
- Click the “Profile” icon at the bottom right of your screen, and you’ll be taken (naturally) to your TikTok profile.
- Look below your bio and you’ll see a tab with two arrows, one pointing up and one pointing down. That’s the “repost” icon; tap it and all of the videos you’ve reposted will appear in a grid at the bottom of the screen.
- If you’ve checked your reposts because you want to remove one of them, no problem. Tap the thumbnail to watch it, and then click the single-arrow “Send to” icon. The pop-up will have an option to delete your repost.
The same procedure will work if you want to see the videos that another user has reposted. Just visit their profile page and click on the double-arrow repost button.
How To See Who Has Reposted Your Posts
We have bad news. No TikTok feature lets you see a list of the users who have reposted your content. Instead, you’ll have to settle for half-measures.
You’re able to see which users comment on your TikTok posts, of course. You can also see a list of the users who have liked one of your videos by going to the post and then tapping Comments > Likes. And you can see a list of your fans by hitting “Followers” on your profile page.
That gives you a comprehensive list of users who may have reposted your content, and by checking each one’s reposts (from their profile pages, as described above), you’ll be able to at least find some of the people who reposted your posts.
That can be quite time-consuming, and you may find that it’s more work than it’s worth. Unless TikTok changes course and gives you a list of re-posters, though, it’s unfortunately the best you can do.
