Want To See Who You Blocked On TikTok? Here’s How

TikTok has been around for almost a decade now. That’s a lot of time for TikTok users to get annoyed with other users on the social media platform — and block them.

There are very good reasons to block spammers, scammers, bullies, and other TikTok account owners who are seemingly on the app just to make the experience unbearable for everyone else. It also makes sense to block those who are always looking to rip TikTok content or start an argument.

Quite often, though, friends or acquaintances have falling-outs and break off all social media contact in anger. Others block a content creator’s account after getting bored or annoyed by seeing the creator’s TikTok posts clogging up their feeds. And there are many more reasons why some people impetuously block others on the app.

Months or years later, they may come to regret their decision and unblock the other person’s account. Even more likely, however, is that they don’t even remember who they’ve blocked during their time on the platform.

Does that sound like you? If so, it might be time to go back and check the list of people you’ve blocked on TikTok. Here’s how to go about it.

How to See Your Blocked List on TikTok

Unlike some of the controls and lists on the app, the list of TikTok users who you’ve blocked is easy to find.

  1. Open your TikTok profile by tapping the “Profile” icon at the bottom right of your home screen.
  2. Click the “Menu” icon (three horizontal lines) in the upper-right-hand corner of your profile screen.
  3. A popup menu will appear. Choose “Settings and privacy.”
  4. Tap on “Privacy,” scroll down to “Blocked accounts,” and click the link.
  5. You’ll see the entire list of users who you’ve blocked. If you want to unblock any of them, just tap the “Unblock” button next to their username.

If you’re on the fence and not sure whether you want to unblock a specific user, no worries; it’s not a permanent decision. You can immediately block them again by tapping the “Share” icon (a sweeping right arrow) at the top of their profile page and clicking “Block” on the popup window’s bottom row of icons.
