Who Favorited Your TikTok Video? Here’s How To Find Out

Will Smith has 80 million fans on TikTok. He probably doesn’t care who bookmarks his videos on the social media platform. That’s also likely to be true for influencers and other extremely popular content creators.

The story is different for many TikTok users with small accounts, though.

It’s a compliment when someone likes your TikTok content enough to bookmark it. So, when a user with a small fan base uploads a TikTok video and someone favorites it, the creator may want to see if the engagement came from someone they know, someone who found them because of an ongoing growth campaign, or perhaps even someone famous.

Is that information available on the app? It sure is.

How To Know Who’s Bookmarked Your TikTok Post

There are two ways to know who’s favorited one of your videos.

First, you receive a notification in your Inbox to let you know as soon as someone bookmarks a vid you’ve posted on TikTok. Just tap the “Inbox” icon at the bottom of your home screen and you can view all of your recent notifications.

Second, you can see a complete of the TikTok users who’ve liked and favorited your posts. Once again, open your Inbox on the app. Tap the “Activities” button, then choose “All Activities,” and tap on “Likes and favorites” from the drop-down menu you see next.

That will show you a full list of the users who have liked and bookmarked your content.

To answer the question you’re probably asking: yes, even private accounts that have favorited your posts will appear on the “Likes and favorites” list.

Can You See Who’s Favorited Someone Else’s TikTok Post?

Sorry to disappoint you, but this one’s a hard “no.” The system doesn’t allow people to see most of other users’ detailed TikTok account information, including likes and favorites. All you’re able to tell is how many times someone else’s video has been favorited; that number is underneath the “Favorite” icon (the one that looks like a bookmark) on their post.
