You Often See The Name Owen Grey On TikTok. Who Is He?

You may see TikTok videos mentioning the Jamaican singer Owen Grey. He was said to be that nation’s first “home-grown” star in the reggae, ska, and rocksteady genres. He passed away in 2025 after a long career, at age 86.

The Owen Grey whose name pops up in TikTok content much more commonly, though, is known for a different type of performance. The vast majority of references to Owen Grey, believe it or not, are posts about a porn star.

Who Is Owen Grey, and Why Does He Trend on TikTok?

Grey began working in the adult film industry in 2012. Later in the decade, he started focusing more on fetish content, and then on self-shot work for sites like OnlyFans and Pornhub, where he’s a very popular straight adult personality. (He’s married, and his wife works in the industry as well.)

What does that have to do with TikTok?

Many TikTok users are drawn to his appearance, and while his explicit work can’t be shown on the social media platform, his body (at least, most of it) certainly can. Grey is rather slight, but his popularity on the app seemed to peak in the early 2020s and coincide with what was described as an increased interest on TikTok in “skinny white men.”

Owen Grey is also known for his long, flowing hair and his assemblage of scars and tattoos; the scars are deliberate body modifications. Several have drawn particular attention. One is a large, Y-shaped scar on his chest, and another is a tat known as either “alphabet leg” or “alphabet soup,” which shows random letters all along his leg and thigh.

Despite his continuing TikTok popularity, Grey jealously protects his private life and doesn’t have an account on the app — or other social media platforms (he was briefly on Twitter many years ago).
